A Landmark Event of the VIETHEALTH Project
Empowering the Next Generation of Vietnamese Health and Biomedical Leaders
VIETHEALTH conference, organized under the VIETHEALTH Project, marks a historic milestone for Vietnamese high school students passionate about health, medicine, and biomedical science. Inspired by the structure of HOSA’s International Leadership Conference, VIETHEALTH conference serves as the highlight of talented Vietnamese students and bringing together future health leaders, mentors, and educators in one transformative event.
Highlights of VIETHEALTH conference include:
Students presented their original health and biomedical research projects, evaluated by American professors and healthcare professionals. These events were designed not for competition’s sake, but to recognize students who demonstrate excellence in research, leadership, and innovation within the health sciences.
Through a series of educational seminars and expert-led sessions, participants explored emerging healthcare issues—ranging from global health disparities to innovations in medical technology—and developed vital leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
Students engaged in meaningful dialogue with peers from across Vietnam, learning from each other’s research journeys and sharing strategies to address real-world health challenges. These interactions fostered a vibrant community of young scientists united by compassion and curiosity.
VIETHEALTH conference created bridges between Vietnamese students and international health experts, enabling mentorship, guidance, and exposure to diverse healthcare systems and career pathways.
The conference concluded with an awards ceremony celebrating students’ dedication, creativity, and contribution to advancing youth research in healthcare and biomedical science.
